THE DEVIL'S BREATH

Devil's Breath is a wrap cover I did for a book by Tessa Harris, published by Kensington Books. It is a continuation of a series that began with The Anatomist's Apprentice, for which I also did the cover.  The light from the protagonist's lantern illuminates him, but little else in the mist rising from a pond. On the left,  a woman's body is dimly seen floating in the water. My goal, as in all my covers, is to grab the reader's attention and ito imply a question: what's going on in this story?
