MY NOTORIOUS GENTLEMAN FC

This is the front cover illustration for the book, My Notorious Gentleman, Harper Collins/ Avon Books. As usual, I was experimenting with design and different color schemes and came up with this one. The feeling was interesting and I liked the contrast of the tow light complementary colors, orange and green blue. Since I did this cover, I have seen the exact color scheme and even a similar pose. THis happens all too frequently. I do the experimenting and creation, others copy, whether by choice, or because an art director asked them to copy this image. it is part of the business.
