SUNRISE WITH A NOTORIOUS LORD

SUNRISE WITH A NOTORIOUS LORD, is the inside or stepback cover for a novel of that tile. I was after a sultry, steamy feeling. The model managed to convey that mood exactly and the dramatic lighting helped create the right atmosphere. I gave this piece and the front cover a patterend background, something I began several decades ago and which I'm seeing being imitated a lot currently. My backgrounds are never flat, but help tell the story. They are are almost living things that move with the figures.
