ANGELIQUE

Camden Harbor, Maine, is home to many schooners that hire out for day or week-long trips. Angelique is berthed at the end of the harbor, in a gorgeous profusion of docks, boats and masts. In this painting, the hour was getting late but the sun was still hitting the background, leaving the schooner in shadow,  illuminated only by reflected light.
