DAMSEL IN DISGUISE

I am quite fond of this one, Damsel In Disguise, done for Berkley Books. There's something simple and elegant about their pose and for once, the man is wearing period-correct clothing. It has become a cliche that the man has to have either no shirt or a falling-off shirt that shows his magnificent abs. Perhaps that is why this image seems so elegant, The sexiness comes from a romantic touch, not a sweaty pawing. It is understated and for that, it seems more powerful. I kept the elaborate palatial room they are in, to amuted bluish tone, so as to not compete with the figures.
