MOONLIGHT'S PASSION

Moonlight's Passion ( not the original title) was a 'wrap' cover, meaning it extended from the front cover on the right, around the spine of the book and onto the back cover. I did a lot of thiose and I believe I introduced the concept of the continuous image that spanned the front and back. Prior to that, we painted separate scenes on the same board that vaguely flowed together, by then grouped like small bubbles in clouds of color. I like doing a painting that held together as a work of art and the art directors, editors and consumers seemed to agree.
