SEDUCTION

SEDUCTION is actually the product of my experimentation with a book cover illustration. I would sometimes give the art director a few different versions of the idea, the one they want, the one that might work and then, the one that just pleases me with little chance of being selected for the final cover. This is one of "my" versions. I was trying out various ways of combining abstraction with realism in my own paintings and wanted to see if it would catch on in the illustration world. This version was rejected, however I kept pushing this sort of thing and eventually the art directors began asking for it!  My inspiration for this piece is Klimpt, of course, but with my oen designs.
